Football

Seriously…
What the fuck is wrong with you and your culture?

Case 1: Man A uses a racial slur towards Man B. Zero evidence and no witnesses despite the pair being surrounded by other players. Man A admits to using a phrase that in his native tongue is a soft jibe but sounds a lot like a very offensive phrase in English.
Case 2: Man C stamps on Man D’s head when he is on the floor and has not initiated any form of violence or threat towards Man C. Video evidence.
Case 3: Man E uses a racial slur (one that is socially unacceptable all over the world) towards Man F. Video evidence, however could be a case of a situation being out of context.

Which one of these do you think should be punished with an 8 match ban and £40,000 fine, a 4 match ban or go unpunished for 3 months?
Personally, I think that the unprovoked attack on a defenseless individual should receive the harshest penalty but apparently it’s okay to kick someone’s head in as long as you don’t call them names. Unless you are White British, in which case you can do whatever the fuck you want in English football.

Following on from that Man B stands up for his rights to not be racially abused and presses charges, getting the conviction. Due to this every time he touches the ball when he next plays Man A’s team he gets booed by the home fans.
He is being publicly mocked and demeaned for defending his own human rights, in the correct and lawful way. Unless all of the fans are racist and think the black man shouldn’t dare stand up to a white man i just can’t understand it.

I try to avoided mass stereotyping. The sort of generalisation it causes is very ignorant. However, it seems that the stereotype of the stupid, racist football fan reaches all the way from the stands to the top of the F.A. disciplinary body.
